You operate in your purpose when you're in your purpose.
Living someone else dream or doing what is stereotypically cool or lucrative will not get you to where you need to be. As years continue you will grow into annoyance and being unfulfilled because though the grass will grow your seeds will be chocked by regret.
The grass is you have learned a lot in a place that is not for your highest good but you can take this information with you. The weeds are the difficult situations that let you know that is not your career nor best environment. It is because of God grace that you can still transfer those tools and experiences from your past in the environment of your purpose. God bless you to make better money in your purpose and you will then experience fulfillment in many areas of your life about your purpose.
God does not lead you to be broke. Wherever you are and you see it does not fit the median requirement for your life than you have you have the wisdom to ask God for the right strategy to transition you to your fruitful environment.
Learn to trust God because where God may have you currently is not where you want to be whether relevant or not. But keep a positive attitude it opens doors that your grace has provided for you.
It is important to conversate with those you can work with and in your industry even for just conversation.
Remember an integral part of your career journey is for your industry to know your personality whether you are an introvert, extrovert, ambivert, confident, theoretical, creative, quick thinker. People need to know who you are in your industry not for personal relationship but to help you gravitate to areas of your industry that need your natural expertise.
In business making friends should be the last activity on your mind because that will happen naturally. Your first priority is knowing how your expertise can effectively help the organization.
No matter the situations that will arise on some job sites as a child of God your first reaction should be a Christian when situations occur. Your work should not be sloppy no matter if you don't like the job and or environment even if it has become toxic. Your work should always exemplify the prayers you initially sent to God when you prayed consistently for the role/position. Always stay in good faith even when you're transitioning for your next role and in or out of the organization.
Jobs will help you maintain your life temporarily; Career helps you build and grow your life.
